Salah satu anggota 2PM, Ok Taecyeon secara tidak terduga melepas visa permanen Amerika miliknya dan memilih untuk mendaftar wajib militer di Korea.
Menurut JYP Entertainment, ketegangan yang terjadi di antara dua negara Korea berdampak besar kepada Taecyeon. Penyanyi yang terkenal sebagai beast idol ini akhirnya melepas green card yang bisa melepaskan dirinya dari tugas tersebut.

Banyak fans mengungkapkan rasa hormat mereka terhadap keberanian Taecyeon ini. Support yang besar juga datang dari dunia maya di mana hottest memberi dukungan lewat trend #taecweloveyou yang sempat menjadi trending topik dunia.

'A Permanent Residence Visa' yang dilepas oleh Taecyeon adalah visa yang menyatakan seseorang berhak untuk tinggal di Amerika secara permanen dan ini berbeda dengan kewarganegaraan Amerika. Keinginan untuk mendaftar wajib militer ini sendiri datang dari Taecyeon sendiri.
"Taecyeon menyatakan keinginannya untuk masuk militer. Dia mengumpulkan dokumennya, dan sangat yakin dengan keputusannya," ungkap salah seorang perwakilan JYP Entertainment.

Namun begitu Taecyeon tak akan masuk wajib militer dalam waktu dekat. Saat ini ia masih terlalu muda, ia bakal tetap aktif sebagai seorang aktor dan member 2PM.
"Karena umur Taecyeon saat ini masih muda, dia tidak akan masuk militer dalam waktu dekat. Dia masih akan tetap aktif sebagai aktor dan melanjutkan studinya, jadi kita masih bisa terus melihatnya," tutur perwakilan tersebut.

2PM’s Taecyeon got dressed up in a suit for a photoshoot, but many might think he looks better without one.
Taecyeon once again showed off his manliness through CJ Integrated Membership for the launching of CJONE. “I found out that even the smallest body expression can describe who I am, and I began to truly enjoy the attention of the world,” he expressed. “I am becoming an icon in the idol world.” As he said these meaningful words, he looked like a sensible, grownup man, all the while radiating charisma.
It has been rumored that his gradual, suave transformation was truly a subject of conversation among the staff.
The video that was shot in celebration of CJONE’s launching will be aired on tvN, OCN, ChannelCGV, Mnet, OnStyle, XTM, Ol’Live, StoryOn, and other channels on cable and satellite television.

WaKinG up 2PM iN tHe MoRninG

Earlier this week we reported that 2PM’s new dorm would be revealed through the SBS HahaMong Show.
On August 15th, Haha and MC Mong raided 2PM’s new dorm for the HahaMong Show corner, Mother’s Favor.
The beastly idols were caught off-guard, in their natural habitats. From Chansung and Wooyoung who were found sleeping in the living room, to Nichkhun who looked like a sleeping angel, and the wild Taecyeon, the temporary mothers Haha and MC Mong went around to wake each of the 2PM members and helped them wash up.
In particular, 2PM’s half-awake attempt to dance to their hit songs Again & Again and Heartbeat brought about much laugher.
The HahaMong mothers prepared a special summer camp for the 2PM members who were too busy this summer to have any summer vacation. At the camp site, the HahaMong mothers prepared dinner for 2PM as they shared stories about their families.
